Universal Studios Singapore

Left our Condominium at Flora Drive at around 11 in the morning. We walked a few blocks for us to get into the bus stop. Took the bus service going to Tampines MRT Station.

Me, Ashly and my bestfriend Rej

My brother, Mom and Dad (Yes, very jeprox and cool parents ko. Not the pasosyal ones. That’s why I love them. They’re the coolest parents, ever!)

What I love about Singapore is that you can easily travel around their country using a card which they call, EZLINK. It’s a preloaded card (you can buy at MRT stations and have it reloaded at the station as well or at 7eleven outlets). You can also pay your fares using your credit cards. You just have to swipe your cards upon riding buses and mrt. Easy right? I wish our country has that kind of thing too!

QUICK FACT:

  • Singapore’s Rail Way system is very efficient!
  • You can easily switch lines by using the circle lines
  • They have this one person per seat thing at the train

We arrived harbourfront at around 1PM. Took a bus ride on the way to sentosa. There are plenty of ways to go to Sentosa..

  • Cable Car - $52 SGD (From Harbourfront to Sentosa)
  • Bus - $2.00 SGD (Vivo City Harbourfront to Sentosa)
  • Skyrail - $5 SGD (estimate) (Harbourfront to Sentosa)

We opt for the bus ride since there was too many of us. Plus it’s much cheaper! Hah! It’s not a mandatory naman to ride a cable car e :P

Arrived Sentosa at around 1:30PM. And all I can say upon arriving is that it is so beautiful! :3

Us posing, just outside the Casino of Resorts World Manila at Sentosa

Of Course we are obliged to have a picture with the famous ‘Universal Studios’ Globe logo, right?

Tickets were sold for $66 SGD during weekdays while it’s plus $10-20 SGD on weekends. There was a lot of people that day.

The first part of Universal Studios is Hollywood Blvd..

You can find a lot of Novelty Shops, Souvenir Shops, Food Stalls and Street Performers at Hollywood Boulvd.

Watched Lights Camera Action and Monster Rock show as for our Starter!

we got a bit hungry, so Dad finally decided to eat at Loui’s Pizzeria at Hollywood Blvd.

Ate Baked Lasagna, Chicken, Pumpkin Soup and a very very big slice of Pizza. Thanks Dad! :)

After eating our late lunch, we headed off to Galactica blvd. And rode the Accelerator!

Then we rode Cyclon after! This is the ride that we have been wanting to try even before going to SG! Haha

It’s like Star Flyer in Star City but much faster, and has a much taller and longer trail.

Now off to the Ancient Times..

Pictures outside the ‘The Mummy Returns Rollercoaster ride’. It was not the typical rollercoaster ride because you’re in a very dark place, you’re watching some scenes as well, then you’re being twisted to different trails. Plus, the ride is really really fast and what makes it scary is that you don’t know when the rides going upside down because it’s pitch dark.

When our ‘The Mummy Returns Rollercoaster ride’ ended, we found ourselves watching the rain drop while we’re inside the souvenir shop of Ancient Times. We decided to buy 6 Pochoco’s (raincoats) for us, each costs $1SGD. Then we looked for Mom and Dad.

..this is already a long post. Will continue this tomorrow <3
